Westerland is very disease resistant and vigorous.  It blooms in large clusters, on new wood, repeating well throughout spring and early summer, then again in fall.

In spring Westerland puts on a show-stopping display of glowing apricot, orange and coral blooms that everyone remarks upon.  If you plant this rose, be prepared to repeatedly answer the question, “What kind of rose is that?” Everyone who sees Westerland in bloom in our garden wants one immediately! If you decide on Westerland for your garden, just be sure you have enough space to let it spread and grow.
